Motor Vehicles: Service Contracts Definition May Include Motor Homes, Other Vehicles

Insurance Code Sections 116.5, 12800, 12830

The definition of a motor vehicle for purposes of a service contract may now include service contracts for motor homes or recreational vehicles, trailers, and off-road vehicles. This means that service contracts can now be sold for these types of vehicles.
